Changes are Happening at Raglan Road

I read an article in the Orlando Sentinal the other day about the new Executive Chef at Raglan Road in Disney Springs. The article spoke about his background and his ideas for changes to the restaurant. If you’ve been following me for a while you likely know that Raglan Road is my favorite Disney Springs dining location. I go for the entertaiment but stay for the Bread Pudding.

I have not been very quiet about my favorite sweet treats at Disney. My previous post about my Disney Guilty Pleasures showed the Bread & Butter Pudding at Ragland Road as being tied for first place for my favorite Walt Disney World indulgence. If you haven’t read my full review of the restaurant from a few years back, you can find it here.

Knowing my love for desserts, you can understand my concern when reading the article that spoke to changes to the menu. Because I take my job very seriously, and because I am a giver who will go to any lengths necessary to make sure to try each and every dessert in order to best serve my guests, I immediately reached out to the management team. Below you can see a copy of the email I sent.

Hello,

I hope this email finds you well. I just read Amy Thompson’s article in the Orlando Sentinel about the new Raglan Road Executive Chef, Mark O’Neill. That is great news and I send my most sincere congratulations to Chef O’Neill and to all of you.

The article spoke to some menu changes that have been implemented and hinted that more changes are to come. I have a specific question about my all-time favorite dessert at Walt Disney World, Raglan Road’s Bread & Butter Pudding. I not only visit Raglan Road during every visit to partake in the most delectable bread pudding this Bread Pudding Lover has ever had but I specifically recommend Raglan Road to my guests and I actually note on their itineraries that they must try the bread pudding.

Would you please let me know if this will remain on the menu? I will be visiting again in early December and I am already looking forward to it.

Thank you so much for your time and trouble. I truly appreciate it and I wish you all the very best!

With Pixie Wishes!

Here is the reply I received today. It’s the best news ever and I am very thankful!

Hi Brenda,

Thank you for getting in touch! We are delighted to hear how much you enjoy our wonderful bread and butter pudding. Don’t worry we won’t be changing any of our popular dishes so this dessert will definitely stay.

We appreciate you recommending Raglan Road to your guests. We look forward to welcoming you back to Raglan Road very soon.

Warmest Regards,

Aileen

I am so happy that I can still look forward to my favorite treat during my upcoming visit in December. Have you tried Raglan Road for yourself yet? If you haven’t, I highly recommend it.
